Introduction to BTBU
Established in 1950, Beijing Technology and Business University (BTBU) is a key multidisciplinary university run by Beijing Municipal Government. BTBU focuses both on teaching and research. After years of development, BTBU has become one of the leading universities in Beijing, and it attracts a large number of excellent students from all over the world.
After 60 years’ development, BTBU has already become a university specialized in the fields of economics, management, engineering and other subjects develops coordinately. There are 10 schools and 1 department in BTBU now that providing 16 master’s degree authorization first-grade disciplines, 16 professional master’s degree authorization disciplines, 48 undergraduate programs and 2 doctoral programs. Now, BTBU shares very good relationships and cooperation with 81 top universities in countries and regions.
BTBU can offer 10 english-taught majors in food science and engineering, international business, finance, international economics and trade, accounting, logistics management, marketing, master of business administration, computer application technology, control theory and control engineering.
BTBU has a total area of 820000 square meters with good teaching, scientific research, living facilities and beautiful campus environment in its two campuses. We warmly welcome all international outstanding students from around the world to school!

Those who are interested in applying for the programs offered by BTBU, please complete the on-line application procedure according to the “Online application guide”(on the central right hand side corner of the homepage) before you submit the paper application materials. The unfinished on-line applications will not be accepted. After finish the online application, please print out the application form, sign your name and send it to International office, BTBU with the other application materials.

Academics Overview
The content of the BTBU academic education is geared to social needs and business demands. Its key aspects (Business, Economics, Food Science ect ) are in the fields of Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral degree programs. Approximately 20,000 students are registered in the Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral degree programs. Now, BTBU opens 12 programs taught in English for international students.
Our function is to generate and impart knowledge. In so doing, we support and challenge our students and lecturers. BTBU is characterized by a particularly close relationship to business, thus creating a learning environment with a potential for personal development.
